840 Taxpayers in ITC Roxy Mas Have Not Paid Yet

The low awareness of the taxpayer in paying tax, forcing the Gambir Regional Tax Office Service Unit (UPPD) conduct various breakthroughs. One of them is by opening advertising tax outlets in ITC Roxy Mas, Jalan KH Hasyim Ashari, Central Jakarta.

Meanwhile, Gambir UPPD Office Head, Johari added there will be two officers on standby over the next month to serve the taxpayers in such shopping center.

"They are assigned to survey all taxpayers here. The requirement is easy, the taxpayer just come, to register, pay to the bank and then will be given a sticker as proof of payment," he described.

He explains the average size of the ad is 0.4x1.5 meter. At least there are about 2,000 taxpayers at the service site. While the remaining 840 others have not done a payment, whereas the tax is one of the mainstays of the city administration's local revenue.

For taxpayers who have not paid until next week, they will be sent warning letter and demolishment warrant. If it is still ignored, the officer will conduct demolishment forcibly.
